Cascade Meadows RV Campground, LaPine, Oregon
After a month of camp hosting in a rain forest, it was nice to cross over the Cascades to enjoy sunnier days. Cascade Meadows, is more of the parking lot style RV park than a campground. However, the sites are large and grassy. The campground charges $5 for 50 amps and $3 for 30 amps. We arrived during the first week of May, so the pool was still empty and the pickleball court was netless. The new management seems to be working hard on the upkeep of the grounds. At one time there was a restaurant, but it hasn't been open for years. We did enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the campground and its proximity to Central Oregon's scenic geography.
